THREE STEPS TO YOUR START GATE.

7 years old or 17. First timer or FIS chaser. Your podium's waiting—but first, let's see if we're the right fit.

HOW IT WORKS

1. SUBMIT AN INTEREST FORM

Tell us about your athlete. We'll add you to our tryout list and keep you posted on next steps.

2. ATTEND TRYOUTS

February/March at Liberty. Ski with our coaches. We'll see if LMRT is the right fit—and you'll get a feel for what we're all about.

3. REGISTER (IF ACCEPTED)

Spots are limited. If your athlete makes the team, you'll register in late Feb/early March and hit the snow in November.

DONE.

Who This is For

LMRT isn't for everyone. It's for athletes who want to work. Who want to get better. Who want to be part of something that matters.

Your podium might be your first clean run through gates. Might be shaving two seconds off last week. Might be standing on an actual box hearing your name over the loudspeaker.

All of it counts. All of it starts here.

What we need from you:

Future Stars (Age 7): Can ski blues in a parallel stance. Ready for Sunday mornings.

Development Team (U10): Solid on blues. Ready for full weekends.

U12: Parallel turns on blacks. Comfortable with speed.

U14+: Dynamic turns on expert terrain. Racing experience expected.

Not sure if your athlete’s ready? Submit the form anyway. We'll figure it out together at tryouts.

QUICK ANSWERS

Never raced before. Can they still try out?

Absolutely. Our younger programs (Future Stars, Dev Team) don't require racing experience—just solid skiing and a willingness to work. Older age groups require extensive racing experience.

Can't make every weekend.

75% attendance required. We get it—life happens. But showing up is how you get better.

Need two pairs of skis?

Not for Future Stars or Dev Team. Recommended for U12+ athletes aiming for State Championships, but not required starting out.

What if they don't make the team?

Spots are limited to maintain small group sizes and coaching quality. If your athlete isn't accepted, we're happy to help you find other options or encourage you to try again next season.

What's the parent commitment?

Volunteer at our home Liberty GS race (February). Support your athlete at training and races. Be part of the team community. This program runs on parents showing up.
