Tryouts for 26/27 Season have Closed
Thank you so much to everyone who came and tried out! We’re pumped up for next season already. If you are still interested in joining, check out all of the details below and be on the lookout for next year’s dates to be published in Jan 2027.
LMRT welcomes athletes ages 7-20 with the skiing ability and commitment to join our competitive race program. Each age group has specific requirements:
U8 Future Stars (Age 7): Age seven by Dec 31, can ride the lift safely without an adult, and Ski intermediate terrain confidently in a wide parallel stance
U10 Development Team (Ages 8-9): Ski intermediate terrain confidently in a parallel stance
U12 (Ages 10-11): Make dynamic, parallel turns on expert terrain (Upper Blue Streak and beyond)
U14 (Ages 12-13): Alpine racing experience and/or advanced technical skiing
U16 (Ages 14-15): Significant USSS racing experience, expert-level skiing
U18-21 (Ages 16-20): Extensive racing background, FIS points or college skiing aspirations

HOW TRYOUTS WORK
1 Register below
Select your preferred tryout date.
2 Show up ready
Arrive early with skis, helmet, poles, and weather-appropriate gear.
3 Ski with coaches
Coaches will video your athlete’s skiing and evaluate ability, technique, and program fit. Tryouts take This will take about 1hr.
4 Hear back
Athletes are notified by early April 2026, registration opens shortly after.
